A little introduction

Hi, I’m Mireille, an Editorial Director working in trade publishing.

As an editor, I’ve worked with bestselling, prize-winning and critically acclaimed authors for the past eight years. I currently head up Tonic, an imprint of Bloomsbury, where I publish books that help readers to think, feel and live better.

I’m also a children’s author. My book, Timelines from Black History, has sold over 50,000 copies worldwide. See more on my Books here.

Lastly, I love sharing my expertise with the world. I run an editorial and communications consultancy where I provide a range of services, including sensitivity reading, editing, book proposal and manuscript reviews, talent scouting and translation, as well as spearheading publicity campaigns, workshop facilitation, public speaking and brand partnerships. I’ve worked with brands and organisations such as Tate Liverpool, The Garden Museum, Penguin Random House, Hachette, Bloomsbury, Tony’s Chocolonely, Wilderness Festival, The Barbican, Grazia, Harewood House, Tangle Teezer, Duppy Share and many more!
